SAMS Learner

I am a SAMS learner because I communicate with my fellow class mates when in group activities.I also am a thinker because when I get work sheets that I have to do by myself I think about what i'm doing before I start the work sheet.I am a SAMS learner because it's part of our curriculm at our school so it's important to me to be a SAMS learner.

Japanese

Sinse we have got our new teacher miss Morrall we have been learning japnese.We have learnt to say hello,good morning,good arfternoon,good bye,what is your name and more but i don't have time to write them all.

For the past few weeks room 5 has been learning to write and
speak some japanese.We have been learning to count, say goodmornning and goodafternoon and some other words in japanese.

this week in reading group 3 is doing phonics,writting,vocab and comprehension work sheets for the book called gold rush. this book is about the gold rushes in the late 1800s.the first big gold rush started in 1848 in california.the gold rush also helped to make many places grow bigger so thats it for this post thank you for reading this post.

Tech

At st andrews middle school we have tech blocks so we do not to do the same stuff every day.You are probably waudering what kind of tech leasons we have. We have hard materials (wood work), art, cooking (sewing)and soft materials.

room 5 new teacher

Room 5 has been skyping our new teacher in america a couple weeks ago. Miss thomson the deputy principle has been our teacher for the past six weeks so next week we should be geting our new teacher.

yesterday room 5 did some cool name tag art for our classroom.we hade to have a background and we had to put each letter of our name in a different colour.we also had to have three different shaps.

youth week

This week is youth week and st andrews middle school has some cool activities. the activities are chalk drawing,sing star,sausage sizzle and a mufti day aswell so we are going to have a blast.

maths

This term group three is learning to put a little on or take a little off. We are also learning to round to the nearest ten to make it easyier to figure out the answer this is called compensation.

science

For science room 5 has been learning about water. We are also doing cocept maps to help us plan befor we start writing about what we know about water.
